Maybe is the such and organized professor. Really on top of the material. Great slide notes on the overhead. Syllabus lays out everything plain and simple.
He may seem a little straightlaced sometimes and he is, but he is very fair. Sometimes he lectures at you about "you gotta know this, this is core, gut level material" which is annoying, but he's right...
The 4th hour is a weekly quiz, so keep up with the homework even though it is never checked. Practice is the only way you can learn math, duh.
The tests area always middle of the road problems, not super easy, but not ubercomplicated either, though kind of long. He's really testing to see whether you know the overall material well. Don't screw up your algebra/arithmetic! The calculus is not that hard, but the problems can be tedious and you can carry the wrong answer all the way through the problem.
I really enjoyed this class because I love math. His lectures aren't the most exciting, but they do give you all the information you need to know. I rarely read the textbook unless it is very confusing. He explains it all much better. But that is not to say that I didn't enjoy coming to class.
His condensed notes are a good idea, so I recommend them if only because it will save you a ton of time by the time the final rolls around because you have a great set of complete notes on the basics of everything.
