APMA 2120

Professor Maybee's lectures were pretty good. I just found the material difficult since a lot of visualizing in 3-D was needed. He only counts quizzes (of which you can drop two) and exams, not homework.

Everyone seems to like Maybee, but I didn't like how he doesn't actually write the material down on the board as you're going. He has it already printed onto a transparancy which means that he goes too fast through all the concepts. He's very helpful and fair though.

maybee is the best apma professor i've had here. he's not easy but you actually will learn something in his class.

Boring and difficult because the TA's grade quizzes and tests really hard. You might fall asleep, but if you do, he will call on you.

This class covers dense material you need to know. Maybee teaches using overheads which is annoying because of the resulting difficulty in visualizing his thought process. If this might bother you, choose another professor.

Professor Maybee is very captivating for a math professor. He's also downright hilarious!!

Decent class, great professor! Mr. Maybee is organized, explains things well, and is willing to help outside of class. Material can be tricky since its a lot of 3D stuff, but it's definitely bearable if you keep up with the homework.

Professor Maybee is an excellent professor, and I can't stress enough how fair, to the point, and engaging he is. The class is hard, for sure, but the weekly quizzes are based on the homeworks (one per class), as are the midterms.

Best APMA212 Professor hands down. Don't even argue with this. If you actually go to his lectures and absorb all the information, then you will do fine. He gives step by step processes on how to approach problems in each section. And sometimes certain problems. APMA212 regardless. A great professor like him won't automatically get you an A. Work for it, and you'll be satisfied with whatever grade you get.

Mr Maybee is an awesome professor. He is very approachable and his tests are pretty fair. His lecture slides are precise and clear. Just make sure you come to class everyday and copy down his slides and you should do fine in his class.
