This class was so much fun and Prof. Bodroghkozy is a fantastic professor. A lot of reading and writing every week but it was all interesting and pretty manageable. Course content was very interesting especially if you have a fascination with the 60s and the Kennedy family. Don't let the 4000 level scare you, take this class! #tCFS24
If you love JFK, TAKE THIS CLASS. I learned so much about JFK (and Jackie) and his interaction with media and politics. Since it is such an awesome topic, the readings were usually pretty interesting. The reading responses are graded a bit harshly if you ask me (two pages double spaced... you can't get as in-depth as I think she expects). The final paper is lengthy but on a topic of your choosing (and by "your choosing" I mean her choosing because she tends to want to adjust your topic a good deal), so it was also decently enjoyable. Overall, I loved watching the movies and learning about that era in American history so I enjoyed the class a lot.
Love love love this class. Aniko is hilarious and this era is definitely her expertise. You have to write a one page response (which is not hard at all) and the readings are fascinating, which makes the assignments easy to complete. The media in this class is glossed over to a degree because history is emphasized, but i STRONGLY recommend this class if you are interested in the 1960s and JFK and his legacy!! #tfc2016
