If you are an engineering student, you have to take this class, so I highly recommend taking it with Professor Abramenko. She is a great professor and was really helpful when answering questions. I thought the material was very reasonable, but I worked very hard in the class. It was also more difficult for me than other students, as I hadn't taken Calc II/BC in high school; however, many kids in my class had already learned some of the material and chose to repeat Calc II.
Professor Abramenko structures her class by giving a lecture and expects students to take notes, and then gives worksheets that go along with the lesson, and she recommends working on them with others. Most of the time, we were only left with about 10 minutes to work, and then had to finish the worksheet for homework. But the worksheets aren't too long. Also, Professor Abramenko offered plenty of office hours to ask questions about the worksheet or the WebAssign. The WebAssigns are online assignments usually between 5 and 15 questions due on Wednesdays. We usually have 1-3 due each Wednesday, so you have plenty of time to finish them. They are usually a lot more difficult than the worksheets, but you have multiple attempts. Finally, the tests are very reasonable and are similar to the worksheets.
