ANTH 3590

I was very excited to join this course and was excited to learn more about Native American art. However, it is an unnecessary amount of work. There is a slide exam of all art in the books and power points, a midterm exam that is assigned over spring break and is quite intensive, a 9 page research paper, a final presentation, and final cumulative exam. On top of this, there is an excessive amount of weekly readings and a response due every week. It is an unnecessary amount of work for a once a week Anthropology elective, and I wish the professor would tone it down so it is not as overwhelming.
