Rachael is a good TA and tries to emphasize the important information during discussion. She really seemed to know the material and was able to answer questions. She was also pretty understanding of student needs. The one negative thing I'll say is that she can be a harsh grader, and doesn't always explain why she gave the grade she did. Overall, I would recommend her if you know you're going to work hard in this course. She doesn't give you any room to slack off, so if you think you won't be able to devote a lot of time to this course or don't think you have good study habits, find an easier TA.
Rachael is a wonderful TA who is willing to help you in anyway you ask her to. Although her area of expertise does not overlap with this course, she does her best to be prepared and go over the material during discussion. I really liked her because she made sure to get to know every student, and tried to facilitate conversation between students as well in a way that was very conducive to discussion. She personally helped me bring out my analytical skills in a way that I didn't realize I needed to, which helped me end the class with a higher grade than my overall semester trend.
