Even if you really know the material, his tests are extremely difficult. Most questions are random and assess memorization, rather than understanding of the main concepts. He is often difficult to understand in lecture, and is not very approachable outside of class. This class would be so much better with a different professor.
I feel like he explained it enough in class, but his tests had almost nothing to do with the lectures. Even saying it was applications of the knowledge didn't explain the questions. Dr wu trails off at the end of sentences and he's hard to understand when he does. Take this with a different professor.
This class was pretty enjoyable. The material was engaging and Professor Wu does a good job explaining the subjects. He posts his slides online but attendance is pretty key because his exams are 100% based off his lectures. Buying the textbook is not necessary, but would be a helpful supplement if you are not familiar with the material (or you can just use google). He also uses learningcatalytics for in-class exercises where you get a point for answering questions and another point for getting the correct answer. You get the occasional homework but you are put in a group and they are pretty simple. I would recommend this class!
