SOC 2600

Good, fun class, but sometimes scatterbrained.

Bateman is a really fun and engaging professor and I actually learned a lot in this class. The problem is, grades on the midterms and finals don't reflect that. His questions (especially his final--I went to every class, took detailed notes and studied for it and got a 70 on it) are extremely nitpicky and require you to remember specific words he said in class at one point and, in my opinion, his tests didn't truly measure whether or not you learned anything valuable. Definitely not an easy A, but a really fun and not too difficult class overall. Just make sure you do as well as you can on other assignments to offset the final exam/midterm.

Really fun class, also learned a lot. Bateman is really funny and extremely fair. Class is an easy A.
