SOC 2220

This class is pretty boring, the lectures are sometimes hard to sit through. And there are a lot of readings. But, if you pay attention, do the readings, and study what she puts on the study guides, you should do pretty well.

I really enjoyed this class! First Soc class I have taken and it was really interesting. The professor isn't particularly great, but she isn't particularly bad either. The class content was great and slightly common sense or just understandable from observation, but still worth learning about more in depth. Readings you can skim and still get a good idea of them, but a lot of them are pretty interesting. Just the main ideas are needed to get by in the discussions. The final research paper is nice because you get to research whatever you want.
