EDIS 3020

I originally took this class because it is an elective for the CSD major in the Ed. School. This class was very organized and not too difficult. Weekly readings and recorded lectures that were easy to follow along. 4 Quizzes, a project on our future career, and a midterm and final (open note). If you are going into education, special education, counseling/psych, or the SLP field I HIGHLY recommend. I recently shadowed an SLP in a school setting and I AM SO THANKFUL that I learned all the information from this class. You learn about different disabilities in the classroom and how to support your students. You learn laws, regulations, terminology, etc that is all 100% completely applicable to your future career. As part of the special ed team you will be a part of helping determining how you can help each student, and learning about what each kid is entitled to and how IEP meetings work, etc.. will all help you in the education field. 10/10 and they offer it online. TAKE IT. Oh yeah, class discord to ask questions and the professors even emailed back promptly on the weekends. They are 100% here to support you.
