I'm usually not a big fan of how language classes are taught, but Professor Chung's teaching style has really helped me improve much faster compared to other classes I've been in. She's genuinely very kind and it's obvious that she cares for each of her student's success.
Class generally consists of her going through slides with grammar points and vocab. She assigns each student a partner for the day to answer questions with and report back to the class. Last semester, for KOR 1010, she would cold call on students at random, but after receiving feedback, she knows asks for volunteers. The vocab quizzes, oral exams, and essays are very easy. I'd say the lesson tests can be fairly tricky though, so just make sure you study a lot for them. She's always willing to provide extra help to those who are struggling, so I wouldn't worry too much.
Seriously though, she's probably one of the nicest people I've met in my life. She's extremely patient with all of her students. Class is always interesting and goes by so fast.
