EVSC 1040

This class was pretty interesting. If you are at all curios about Virginia's environment I would encourage you to take this class. He had quite a few guest lecturers from all over the state who really knew their stuff. The tests can seem difficult but if you study your notes you'll be fine. Don't skip class often though, he tests only from notes.

Interesting Envi. Sci. class. Lectures include a variety of topics throughout the year, providing you with a little information on a lot of topics. As long as you attend class, do the readings, and pay attention, you should do pretty well; however, it does require more effort than a typical 100-level class.

Biggs is a very boring lecturer and his tests are hard because he asks extremely random questions. Try to avoid this class as much as possible.

Biggs is a funny person but class was incredibly dull. It was hard to tell what was important because his powerpoints were a jumble. Midterms and finals were very hard because he did not prepare us well.

STAY AWAY you're way better off taking another, easier, EVSC. I sincerely regret taking this class- useless information, extremely boring, killing my GPA.
