Professor Larson was a very helpful professor and always available to answer questions during office hours. That being said, the class was difficult and moved at a quick pace. Doing homework with a group was crucial to understanding the topics. Tests were fair and followed lecture and homework sets. There was no textbook so lecture was very important.
This class is very difficult and uses very abstracted math (calculus) concepts. Even with a strong calculus background, I found this class very challenging.
If you have not taken Game Theory before this class (which I have also heard is extremely difficult), do not take this class as it puts you at a distinct disadvantage. I eventually withdrew from this course.
The problem sets and exams can be quite unreasonable, as well. And Prof. Larson does not explain things well enough in class for you to be prepared for the difficulty of these assignments. Unless you HAVE to take this class, I would definitely not recommend it.
