Wonderful course that applies econ to the business world. Mills is a first-rate professor due to his enthusiasm, his knowledge of the subject and the fact that he cares about his students. I learned more useful econ in this course than in almost any other course i have taken. Mills is also great about answering questions in class.
This is not the most flashy class, and Mills isn't the most enthusiastic professor, but the information is important and interesting, and he's very knowledgeable on his topic. You can trip him up easily with questions during his pre-planned lectures, but uninterrupted, his flow of information is logical and clear. Also, it's not difficult at all if you keep up.
Professor Mills is always an excellent professor. He can be a bit dry at times like others have mentioned, but he is always well-prepared for lectures and he does a great job explaining potentially confusing topics. His homeworks are very well-designed and are crucial for your understanding of the material that he goes over in lectures. Professor Mills also posts online exercises which are super helpful. There is a group project at the end of the course which is really fun to work on as a team and helps you learn a lot more about the applications of Industrial Organization, Antitrust Law, Merger Litigation, Net-Neutrality, etc.
Not an easy class per-se, but if you are willing to actually learn and appreciate the material, this can be a great class. Would definitely recommend.
