This class is by far the most fun cs class I've taken at UVA. It was really cool learning how to build a website using a proper development cycle and pipeline, and it was nice to get experience with tools such as AWS and Heroku. Most of the class is focused on a group project which involves building a website with a group that you get assigned to, and if the quality of your group is good (which was the case for my group), the class will be enjoyable. If the quality of your group isn't good (i.e. people are slacking, etc), make sure to talk to the instructors so you can get it resolved quickly.
Besides the project, there's three quizzes based on lecture content which aren't too bad, and there's guided practices which are sometimes done in person in class which are pretty easy. Overall, if your group is balanced, you shouldn't experience that much trouble with this class.
