This class was much harder than CHEM 1611: expect a much higher level of difficulty as well as an increase in the amount of writing you have to do. However, there are only three experiments the whole semester. Morkowchuk may as well have not existed since I never saw her once, but my TA was amazing! Not too nitpicky about the grading, helpful about answering questions, and just really nice and personable. However, this was just my particular class. The actual in-class part is less boring than 1611, but the calculations are much harder. Instead of writing just one portion of the paper, you're always required to write at least three or four, and the last one is a full lab report (about 8-9 pages for me, a rather loquacious individual). So don't procrastinate this until the night before. Overall, this class is a nice addition to taking 1620 and is great for making you more comfortable in the lab.
P.S.: there is this crazy old lady who roams around all the chem labs, yelling at people to put their goggles on. So keep them on, even if you don't think your TA will care!
