one of the best teachers in the civil department. subject is rather dry but he prepares you for the exams well and is a fair grader

The material is dense, but Baber is a good teacher. The homework was assigned after every class which was really annoying, but it usually isn't too difficult. For the tests make sure you know all of the equations by heart because you don't get a sheet (until the final) despite the fact that there are nearly 100 of them.

Terrible but easy class. Did not go to any lectures except the ones before each test, where he tells you what's going to be on the test.

Course is very difficult. It is theoretically-based and application-driven. This mismatch impedes learning. Using computer-based applications and linear techniques is a must.
