This was her first semester teaching the course, and while she did listen to our complaints about the class, by the time she made changes it was the end of the semester. I hope she is better next year if she continues to teach this course

Professor Hobbs did try to make her class interesting and reflect the feedback we gave her, but in the end, I learned most of the material through the textbook and reviewing class powerpoints. Class typically started with a quiz based on the reading assigned for the week, and there wasn't a lot of other work other than an occasional worksheet. Overall, grading is fair so that grade reflects effort but hopefully the delivery of the concepts will be improved for future semesters.

She is the single worst professor I have ever had. Despite this being her first semester her behavior was inexcusable and should never ever be in front of students. Perhaps she is a good researcher, but she is a terrible educator. She was consistently unprepared, missed 10 classes during the semester, and left me unprepared to take the FE. She has a chip on her shoulder and is more interested in political issued than actually teaching the engineering.
