First of all, this class is nowhere near as challenging as Physio 1, in my opinion. The tests are rote memorization, which may be infuriating, but it isn't Helmke trying to trip you up asking multiple choice questions with multiple answers. Basically, you have to study, but studying WILL pay off (unlike Physio 1). The material isn't quite as complicated as the heart and lungs (far fewer equations and more memorization of body parts). I did an accidental case study for the optional readings: the first half of the semester I dutifully did the readings and took notes and was very well prepared for class, and then coronavirus struck and I forgot my book in Charlottesville. My test scores were identical, but I did have to study way harder for the second test. So it's up to you: is the reading worth it? Price is a very nice dude, even though he's new to teaching Physio and doesn't always know the answer to some of the more complicated questions we might have. As for the final project, it's pretty decent but expect some people to pull way more weight than others...and I can't speak for the grading since I'm sure the grading was more lenient because of coronavirus. Overall, a fun class, and I learned a ton!
