Kim is pretty hard to understand in my opinion, but you get used to it if you go to class regularly. He covers everything you need to know for the tests in class, and almost all of it is on the handouts (though not all of it). Make sure to go to his review sessions for the tests, they are very helpful. He definitely wants people to do well in the class. The only thing you really have to do is memorize like crazy. If you know everything on the handouts, you will get an A.

Dr. Kim is one of the few professors who takes your effort into account of your grade, not just the points you score on a test.

A tough class to get used to at first, but once you figure out how to study it's not bad. A lot of great, relevant information.

The course material is interesting, but Kim's lectures can be a little bit mundane. Thankfully, he provides a packet with most of the material you need for the course.

Lecture may be dull and repetitive, however, it does help emphasize the important information in the packets. Tests are long, but extremely fair.

Professor Kim is extremely smart in his field of neuroscience. His lecture style can be somewhat mundane but if interested in subject material go ask him about details. He is extremely friendly and equally so intelligent.

Dr Kim is the best. He's really passionate about his teaching and will be sure to make you laugh occasionally. Only grades are the tests, so study hard for each one and you'll do well.

awesome professor and hilarious once you get past the unit on the nervous system. the whole class is 2 mid-terms and a final.

Great class. A ton of information to take in, but that is all there is to the class. Memorize you're class notes and you should be good to go. Yong Kim is the man.

Professor Kim is nice and funny. All the material you nee to know is in the packets which coming to class helps you digest so I would recommend attending lectures.
