This was possibly the easiest class I have taken at UVA. The only grades are discussion board posts and a scrapbook that you work on throughout the semester. Each week the class would only take about 1.5-2 hours total. Lectures were not really necessary to attend either.

Professor Kachru made this class really interesting to attend, even at 9:30 in the morning! He would often pose us open-ended but engaging questions about how we are to interpret the readings. He was also extremely understanding and accommodating to students during the pandemic, which I appreciated. Course load was pretty minimal.
