STS 4600

Gorman is great as far as STS professors go. Other than your thesis, all you have to do for this class is lead the discussion of one case study and read an intro every class for that case study and write a short forum post on it (takes roughly an hour every week). Gorman does take into account your class participation (as most STS professors probably do), but some of the case studies are actually pretty interesting so it isn't that bad. I felt like he gave everyone a lot of flexibility on their theses (read: didn't force us to shove in boatloads of STS terminology). I can't compare him to other STS professors but from what I've heard he's probably one of the better ones.
