So let me be clear: Messeri is the easiest to work with. The extra writing assignments are very low difficulty and don't need to be that formal. She is unlike most of the sts department in that she tries to bring the discussion to modern issues. She's very aware of what the students are dealing with and is the best choice when picking your thesis class.
