SPAN 2020

Profesora Kika was an amazing professor. She is extremely knowledgable in the language of Spanish. SPAN 2020 has a lot of grammar and vocab, and the activities she led in class were very helpful in reiterating these concepts. Because there is a lot to learn, and because Spanish is flipped classroom, there is quite a bit of outside work. However, it is definitely manageable as long as you stay on top of it. There is about an hour of homework after every class, so it is definitely doable. I always felt comfortable asking Profesora Kika any clarifying questions in class. She does make it so that you have to interact with your peers quite a bit, however, everyone is on the same page about learning and practicing their speaking, and participation is a factor in the overall grade, so it is worth it to be an active participant. The final was also surprisingly easy, and I found that SPAN 2010 was great preparation for this class. I recommend creating study sheets for yourself as you study for the Pruebas, as the Pruebas usually consist of the first of the two chapters that will be covered on the exam. This makes studying for the exam half the work. These study sheets are also great help when studying for the final.
