Definitely the easiest of the FUN courses since all of the answers are given in the slides. TAs are chill and helpful, and the material for the most part isnt too confusing. Test and quizzes are easy since Delong gives you a heads up on what to study for and types of questions he's asking. It's pretty hard to get an A since it's a 95 cutoff. However, grading really depends on your TA.
I don't even know why you're reading this review because you have to take this class anyways, there's no escape. The quality of the class varies a lot from semester to semester as the TAs and curriculum change. DeLong was constantly trying to prepare us for Fun 2 so the course material we had was different from the last semester's, and will be different from next semester's. You're going to be stuck with your lab group all semester, so make good choices. Lots of people found the final project and exam to have Questionable Grading at best, so be warned. DeLong is a decent lecturer, not fantastic but not the worst. I found him helpful in OH more than in class.
If you end up doing the FUN courses, it will consume your life. 9 hours of class time a week for 3 semesters is no small commitment. Each FUN level becomes increasingly difficult, so this is the easiest one. Honestly, it is up to you to teach yourself these courses because the teaching staff varies in quality from semester to semester. Also, choose your lab group carefully because you will be spending your life with them.
