I agree with everything the previous review said. The class is definitely manageable and if you put in the effort, you can learn a lot. We use an online circuit simulator called Digital to create all the circuits, and I actually found it pretty enjoyable to simulate everything and watch all the circuits come together in the end. Since everything was online, watching the recorded office hours was really helpful, and the TAs I had were great and super responsive. Ultimately, if you use all the resources provided to you, this class shouldn't be bad.
Kind person. The class is what you make of it. There are weekly "readings" (they are interactive on zyzbooks). If you wanted to you could just click through the questions. There are learning activities (projects) every other week or so. The answers for these can usually be gained by watching a office hour recording. That said if you put forth the effort to actually read the readings and understand what you are doing in the projects there is definitely a lot of learning value and the class itself is an easy A. I would recommend making a cheat sheet/notes while doing the readings because the exams (3 of them I think it was) could be done with cheat sheets. I didn't realize this until near the end of the semester but a couple of the TAs had discord servers set up which made it easy to pop questions about learning activities. Additionally, Prof Delong has always been willing to help address confusion/specific questions/point in the right direction via email/office hours for the learning activities or in general. He's non-judgmental as well - like one time my circuit wasn't working because the my wires weren't lined up properly between components and I didn't feel stupid after he helped me, I felt like I grew if that makes sense. He is forgiving if you are late and understanding in general.
