PSYC 2700

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken, but also one of the most informative and meaningful classes. You truly take out what you put in in this class. Dr. Stern is such a nice and caring person and she truly wants everyone to succeed in her class. There are no exams in this class, only weekly two-sentence discussion posts based on the reading, weekly quizzes that you took after watching an asynchronous lecture (and had two attempts, the second after seeing what you got wrong), every-other-week group discussion assignments after the synchronous lecture, and a weekly journal entry. As long as you fulfill the requirements for the assignments, you'll get a 100. Highly recommend.

Honestly Dr. Jessie truly made me feel like I'm getting my money's worth for my education. She is one of the sweetest, most caring instructors I have ever had. Going into this course, I was not interested in psych in the least bit, but she's truly changed my mindset. No exams, just journals, some easy quizzes (if you've been paying attention), and short discussions. She truly wants to to learn to apply to material, not just regurgitate it. Take ANY class with her. She is absolutely amazing.

Professor Stern is so nice and a very interactive and involved teacher! There were no exams...only a weekly MC quiz on the reading/lectures which we were given 2 chances to take and a weekly journal assignment. We also had a 15 minute small group discussion once a week where we did a short weekly assignment for completion.

I really enjoyed this class! the readings were interesting and we didn't have any exams, just weekly quizzes based on lecture/readings and journal entries. I really appreciated Professor Stern's helpfulness during a difficult time.
