Powerpoints were disorganized and he never remembered what was even in them as he was presenting. More than half the assignments in the course were never graded, which was annoying because for pretty much the entire semester you didn't know where your grade stood. He kept giving different guidelines for the final essay. One minute its 12-15 pages of text and then in office hours he'll say it should be 12 pages max. If this class didn't count for 3 different college requirements I would've dropped it early on.

Professor Mason is extremely condescending in class and office hours. His feedback on assignments mocks the student and does not provide any advice on how to better one's writing. He returns two grades per semester, a month after their due date, and gives no opportunity for improvement. In his lectures he routinely forgets what are on his slides and the point of the lesson. He rarely responds to emails. Some of the course material was interesting, so take the class with a different professor if need be.
