Emily is a great professor; she is very practical about the material. If you have any issues with the curriculum, email her and she will help you out. This is a required class, so it isn't all that interesting, however Emily is very helpful in guiding you through. There are a few projects, weekly twitter posts, and sometimes there are "modules." Not too terribly difficult and very useful for those willing to bolster their technology-use in the classroom.
