The course covers broadly some (random) topics not usually covered in computer science courses, and are all fairly interesting. The professor is very friendly, and really wants class participation, but the class itself is all usually not paying attention so it's an awkward dynamic. The exams are more difficult than I anticipated, and the projects are pretty straightforward. Find a decent group and you'll be fine.
This class was not very programming heavy, but it did cover some interesting topics in computing. You didn't have to pay attention in class except to take the (super easy) 3 question quizzes at the beginning of each class. All of the information is on the powerpoints, and the final exam was open note.
There is a pretty intense semester-long project based around creating your own ecommerce business, but as long as you do not procrastinate and choose group members who know how to write it would be fine. This class was a great choice for me because I was in other classes that required much more programming and this was a nice break.
