CPLT 3559

I took Spiritual Journeys in YA Fiction with John Alexander and it was by far, the BEST class I've ever had! The reading seemed daunting at first, but it's manageable if you're dedicated to the course. They're all children/YA fiction books so all of the books are easy and fast reads. Same goes for the blogging (about 3 blog posts/week and 2 responses on other classmate's blogs).

The great thing about this course is the more you put in, the more you get out of it. Reading the books is absolutely essential to contributing to class discussion and understanding what this class is all about. The discussions are indispensable because you're given the opportunity to discuss the books' themes with classmates. It's less like a course and more like the ultimate book club.

All I can say is take this class! You'll learn a lot about yourself and gain some great friends in the process.
