COLA 1500

Professor al-Rahim is an incredibly boring lecturer. He will make you regret bothering to come to class at all. The class is really easy though and the only requirements are to come to class and write a 1500 word essay at the end of the semester. My essay was awful and he still gave me an A in the class so it is a nice little GPA cushion if your other classes are hard. I would say skip this class and take a USEM instead because I did not really feel like I got to know al-Rahim at all despite him being my advisor which is the whole point of a COLA. He is also not the nicest and can be rude or irritated when answering questions. He assigns readings every week, but they are really unnecessary and I would not bother with them because they are just his research papers that are incredibly difficult to understand. #tCFfall2021
