I'm gonna be honest, I did not like this class. It's not difficult; three exams and participation were the entire grade, and I never participated in class, just showing up got me enough points. The exams were multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank, and short answer questions. The exams aren't difficult, but some of the questions were asking about a single small detail that was mentioned only once in class, and because the exams are so short getting just a few wrong answers drops your grade pretty quickly. There were also instances where more than half of the students would put the same incorrect answer, which indicates that the question/answers were poorly worded or the lectures led most students to reach incorrect conclusions. The lectures were also frustrating because it was impossible to tell what was vital information (for those questions about small details I mentioned) and what was a sidenote. I would recommend writing down everything and hoping you remember the right details. There were also readings, sometimes I did them and sometimes I didn't, but I would recommend at least skimming through the readings so you know what the professor is talking about. I found the content of the class interesting but I just couldn't sit through it sometimes. I'd say go for it if you like anthropology or need to fill some requirements (like I did) but I didn't enjoy this class. Good Luck!
