AMST 2001

This class was ok, nothing to really complain or brag about. The class was split into six different units; all a different area of American culture. Like expected, I found some really interesting and I could not care about the others. Hamilton and Hedstrom were both decent lecturers and you could really tell that they care about the students. There are readings every class and you must go to lecturers because they are not recorded. There is a midterm and a project/paper that make up the majority of your grade. Midterm was just a bunch of short essays. In order to do well on the midterm, including information from lecture and reading is crucial. The final project is just a 8 page paper about food and culture which is not too bad.
