Professors are very nice and willing to help but the subject matter is too difficult and different to get across to most students. Going to T.A. sessions is what got me through the class.

Both Professors are very approachable and very willing to help with homework assignments. Material is easy to understand, but more difficult to apply to homework problems. Office Hours, either Professors' or TA's, are a must.

Hard class, but all systems must take it. I don't think you should take if if you aren't a systems major.

This was a thinking-intensive class. The material wasn't particularly hard to learn, but solving problems required innovative thinking and little memorization. All tests are open-notes and open-book, but they remain challenging. The grading system is devised to make it very possible to get a decent grade.

i bombed the midterm and still managed to get an A-. if you can work out the homework problems, then the exams are solely about time management.

Class is really hard, but Beling is really informative. Pay attention in class and you'll get a better understanding of the homework.

Midterm is hard. Really strive to understand the homeworks since they are your best bet in preparing for the tests.

The homeworks are hard but once you understand them it really clicks. Midterm is very difficult even though its open book. Lectures can be pretty boring but paying attention is recommended it helps with homework.

The final is basically impossible. Fortunately, everybody does as bad as you.
