Rather easy class, although quite rigorous. Quizzes took a lot of time, just make sure you ace each of them then final will be a breeze.

Very tough class. Class is divided into two parts. First lecture goes over the material, second goes over the homework for that week. Really recommend going to both because the homework can be really tough. Make sure you do really well on the homework and quizzes because the final can be a bit tough. Holt is helpful and a nice guy so if you have trouble, go to him

Good class, but he doesn't curve. If you do well on the quizzes, you should be fine.

If you're taking this class, you probably are because you have to. For me, this was NOT the case. I really enjoyed it, but I'm a huge nerd. It's relatively easy although the final kills a lot of kids. Don't expect an amazing experience from this class, but expect to get graded relatively fairly (that's huge to me and probably is to you too).

You can actually just read from the textbook and do the homework. Professor Holt is really helpful however if you do need to speak to him. He's very good at explaining statistics. Quizzes are weekly, and one final. Good class overall.

You do not need to go to lecture because he juse reads straight off the powerpoint and make sure you take every quiz because it gets harder as the semester comes to an end. Grade is mostly based off of quizzes and homework.

this is for 08 Fall. As usual, 1 lecture per week, optional hw session where u can pretty much just get the answer. I personally never go because it's not that hard, it's mainly the T/F questions that you get stuck on. HW counts for 15% and there's 100 problems in total (12 sets of 10 questions, get to drop 2 sets), so messing up ONE is NOT a big deal at all. The quizzes however, are 55% and getting ONE question wrong means -1.1 on the TOTAL grade.

Holt is a fun guy, and his quizzes and tests are relatively easy. If you go to his homework help sessions, it will cut your homework time back by at least 2 hours.

This class was very easy for a for credit class he lectures Monday, goes over homework Wednesday and the discussion is a short quiz. He teaches you how to do the problems but not so much the reasoning behind it, however. The book is relatively unnecessary.

Holt is a really nice guy which keeps me from completely ragging on this course. All the hw is online and the quizzes are online as well, though you have to go to a lab to take them, which is a pain in the ass. Then you get to the end of the year and the final, which is worth a lot, is not online and is not completely relevant to the class. Overall, if you do well on the quizzes you are fine, but certainly a frustrating and obscenely boring class
