Generally, this class was not overly time-consuming or difficult; however, Professor Morales did not make it much easier. He is a nice guy and generally friendly, but he does not know how to effectively teach the material covered in this course. He would often tell us to look things up or watch a YouTube video when we asked questions in class instead of telling us the answer because he genuinely did not know the answer. His grading was also extremely unclear; he would give people poor scores on the essays and leave barely any comments or suggestions on how to improve. There was even a case where on the first pass of the essay someone got a 100%, and on the second submission, the score somehow went down to 92% when no changes were made. I would recommend taking this course if you want to pursue Spanish, but I would avoid taking the class with Morales as much as possible.
