Dr. B is hands down the best professor I have had at UVA. She genuinely cares about the class and the students, and is very flexible and logical. She lectures are laid out very well, and as long as you do the readings and speak in class you will be fine. She is extremely intelligent, and I believe she won a teacher of the year award of some sort recently. By all means take this class, even if you are not a sociology major (I am not).
