This course is an easy A! I would highly recommend if you want to continue to practice your signing past ASL 2020. I absolutley loved my classmates, connections, and the professor. Bruce is so funny and kind. He has been the nicest ASL professor that I have had as an instructor. He has interpreting experience as well which makes this a great opportunity if you want to get into the field. This course is also very manageable! We each did an interest presentation where we got to learn whatever signs we wanted, so you get to direct your learning. You also do not have to be a ASL Minor to be in the course. There were multiple students who were not minors who just wanted to keep up with their ASL. As with all ASL courses, you do not know your grade until the end of the semester when it is entered in SIS and you rarely get feedback. But I had fun and I would take this course again 100%.

Super sweet professor and knows what he's doing. Only complaint is that he's hearing teaching an ASL course which is not really what is wanted. You can learn from him and he keeps class fun and engaging, I just wish there was more emphasis on Deaf culture and not allowing whispering/talking in class.
Rarely homework and the homework isn't particularly hard. I put one hour of coursework, but it's really like 10-30 minutes depending on if there even is an assignment.
