ASL 2010 with Shilpa has been a very fun class. She can come off as being a tad sassy, but once you get to know her and her sense of humor, she lightens up. Class is very fun and she requires a lot of participation. Her quizzes are VERY hard. She marks off for every detail missed and it really adds up. The class averages for her tests range anywhere from a 72-78, usually with one person getting an A- and two-three people getting B+'s. Her other work isn't very tricky, but she gives you a short notice on when assignments are due. There will be weeks where you are assigned something on Monday that is due in class on Wednesday and then she will assign something on Wednesday that is due that Friday. So, depending on the week, you can have one hour of work or upwards of six hours of work and studying. Everything seems to fall on the same week in this class. There will be weeks where there are no assignments or quizzes, and then weeks with three assignments and a unit quiz. There is really no in-between. Overall, she is a great teacher and has taught me a lot about my ASL conversation skills. I highly recommend ASL 2010 and Shilpa!
