The class looks like a lot of work (10 page paper on religious theorists, 20 page autobiography, and about a book a week), but it's graded pretty easily. It's clear she doesn't want anyone to get below an A. Additionally, most of the readings are interesting autobiographies, so it's not very hard. Overall, it's a good way to knock out the religious studies majors seminar.
Prof. Warren is great- she engages you in the material (interesting religious autobiographies) extremely well and helps you come to the point where you're ready to write your own religious autobiography. Be prepared to read and eventually write an autobiography (15-20pp.) but only one other 5-7pp. paper on theorists, such as Tillich, Geertz, Freud, Hauerwas, Wilken, etc. If you don't know these names, don't worry, you will get to know them.
