Professor Cox is very knowledgable in her field and does a good job of explaining things. I wouldn't go into this class expecting to learn much about business or without any prior philosophy coursework. The entire basis and framework of philosophy is taught within the first 2 weeks of class and then applied to other topics for the rest of the semester, so it can be tricky getting a grasp on intro philosophy in such a short span of time. The reading is very dense, and you are expected to read and write a 400ish word response before every class (twice a week). Over the semester, there are ~6 reading quizzes, a midterm, and a final paper. Definitely not an easy course by any means, but pretty manageable if you do the readings/forum posts and come to class with a few talking points. This is important because participation is a big part of your grade, and if you have no clue about applied philosophy you might feel lost at some points.
