I took 20th Century Catholic Theology with Prof. Henry under RELC 3559. Each week we'd read like half a book and then come to class to discuss. Once during the semester, you and a partner present some material about the author and kick off class discussions. At the end of the class, you write a long paper (14+ pages) about any Catholic Theology topic you want. Henry was very nice and super smart, but he wasn't great at leading discussions because he tried to completely answer every single question that students had rather than stick to the text we were looking at. I felt like most of us who took the class, even the Catholics, had trouble with some of the complex theological materials we were studying and that the readings needed a lot of context. Henry was nice and no one got destroyed on their grades, but we definitely only scratched the surface of the material and I didn't feel like I came out with loads of new useful knowledge.
