The optional discussion section for social psych is worth taking. It is an interesting and engaging way to explore the class topics in more detail and interact on a more personal level with your classmates. The discussion section will cover the topics of lecture and also touch on a few ones not explicitly discussed in class. The grading is not difficult, just show up and participate every week for about half of your grade and read the assigned readings and write a 1-page reaction paper to the reading every week for the other half. My discussion section was led by Jane Tucker who did a fantastic job and I’d defiantly recommend taking it with her.
