This class is really overrated. Copland expects you to do over 200 pages of reading a week and is just really unrealistic. He also makes his lectures up on the spot often and are very hard to follow. Its one of those classes you show up to and don't take any notes. Interesting material presented very poorly. Chen is a great ta though.
