I took this Fall 2023 btw but Professor Alexander is great -- very knowledgeable, has anecdotes for everything, and is a pretty lenient grader. No unnecessary readings and if you do the work (2 page paper before each weekly meeting) and talk in class a couple times you'll end with an A-/A. This is a fun class and you'll definitely develop good analysis skills from discussion.
