As someone planning on going to law school, I LOVED this class! Professor Vradenburgh may be one of the smartest people I know, highly recommend going to office hours and talking through the cases and getting to know her. The class consisted 25% participation, attendance, and case briefs, 25% midterm, and 50% final. The 50% final is definitely daunting, but Professor Vradenburgh makes the questions straight forward and does not want to trick you. Some of the cases covered can be tricky (again, definitely go to office hours) since she focuses on some of the smaller issues, but I found reading the case briefs really interesting. They can definitely get boring (expect 50-100+ pages of reading per week), but if you are passionate about constitutional law or want a law school preview class, this is the one for you. I really wish she was offering the second part to this class in the spring, I would love to take another class with this professor. Overall, difficult class with a decent amount of work, but incredibly interesting and rewarding.
