PHYS 3210

I'm honestly not sure how to rate the difficulty of this course. It starts off way too easy to the point where it's easy to fall asleep in class. Then it gets too difficult and Lee doesn't do a great job of explaining the suddenly difficult concepts. The textbook for this class isn't great (at least, for the second part of it. Any book is good at teaching basic level mechanics) and I don't think anybody in the class learned much in rigid body rotations, noninertial frames, and scattering theory. The final was extremely hard because it focused on those three concepts I just mentioned which nobody learned. Also, he has students read The Copernican Revolution which is a terrible book, and I wasn't a fan of that either.

The course is fairly easy at the beginning of the semester, but it gets exponentially difficult at the end of the semester. Lee is not the best professor, and he has very little empathy for students. He will not remind you that there is homework.
