Professor Green was a decent lecturer, but he seemed a bit too biased. I come from a Christian background (but not necessarily of a devout one), but Professor Green seemed to try to convince us whenever possible that there is no god by emphasizing certain philosophers and/or ideas. Grading was fair enough, I suppose, but go to your TA's office hours for help on papers if you really want to do well.
This is a good, interesting class. It's a good way to get your feet wet if you're interested in philosophy. Midterm was super easy and based off study questions he gives every week. The papers are a little harder to do well on. Mitch is probably my favorite professor this semester. He's a very interesting, eccentric person. His lectures are over the readings which is good because sometimes they're a little dry and hard to wrap your head around. Also his lectures pretty much follow the book (which he wrote), so if you need any clarification you can always refer to the book.
Green is a really interesting guy, always eager for a philosophical discussion and very personable/approachable. The setup of the class is pretty straightforward, it’s based off of two papers which are laid out completely for you and a midterm and final which are both verbatim the study questions that he gives out periodically throughout the semester so if you do them when they come out you barely have to do any studying for the tests. Essentially, great class, really interesting and pretty easy.
