Super interesting and insightful class! Doug Blackmon is a pulitzer prize winning author and now hosts the weekly forums at the Miller Center. This class coincides with these forums so that you read the most recent book by a certain author, and then hear them speak and ask them questions. It is a lot of work- you are expected to read a book a week (though you can get away with extreme skimming)- but worth learning about so many different topics in such an engaging way.
